I stumbled up on this hidden gem today! The 2 ladies were very nice. I got a jerk chicken plate w/green beans/rice&beans and potato salad (amazing). O and made from scratch meat pies! Everything was good. A must try!

Excellent. Got the chicken lunch special with red beans and rice. The meat on the chicken fell off the bone and it was so tender and so dang succulent. Red beans and rice had this juicy diced beef ... hoo boy. The hibiscus tea! Get it! Very friendly service. Go here. Buy the food. It's tremendous.

I came here with my niece today and immediately were greeted by two lovely ladies as soon as we opened the door. They showed us the menu, their photos on the TV, and talked with us as well.
I loved their walk Art and the only thing I wished they had was indoor seating, but unfortunately the city didn't allow that. It was a beautiful day outside so I found a place near Cedar Hill Park and we ate outside.
I believed their best seller had to be the Jerk Chicken since they had it as an entree, in a baked potato, and for a lunch special.
We both ordered the lunch special, hers with potato salad, and mine with red beans and rice with added hot link. The lunch special came with a leg and a thigh, and one side for less than $10!
The chicken was extremely tender, juicy, and flavorful. I mean to the bone! The kick was there for the jerk chicken as well, because what's jerk chicken without spice? They weren't stingy on their jerk sauce either. Their red beans and rice were really good, I loved it with their jerk chicken, it was a good amount of serving as well. The potato salad was also really good, I mean I make a pretty good potato salad, but theirs definitely topped mine.
The pat'e was really good and flavorful as well, I just wished the pastry on the outside was a bit more flaky like and less bread like, but it was still really delicious!
They did mention that they planned on adding lamb chops, plantains, and lentils to the menu as well so I'm very excited for that!
I'm excited for this new joint and can't wait to see them grow and expand their menu!

The food is authentic Caribbean food. It's spicy, flavors are A1, customer service was great.

I wish they would make some bake to eat with the jerk.

I ordered the oxtail plate, which usually comes with green beans, rice and beans, and potato salad with a hibiscus tea with fruit. I asked for no potato salad, and they honored that with no problem. The oxtails were perfectly tender, full of rich, slow-cooked flavor that soaked into every bite. The rice and beans were delicious—well-seasoned and comforting. Even the green beans had a nice snap and weren't overcooked. Portions were generous, service was friendly, and the meal tasted homemade in the best way. If you're craving authentic Caribbean flavor, this place delivers.

Has a chance to give this place a try. The service was excellent & they explained the menu to you & even made suggestions. It's a limited menu. The green beans were well seasoned & the rice & peas were good, but I would suggest you add the sausage to it because it gives it more flavor. The potatoe salad was pretty good. The jerk chicken is good, but it's baked. Nothing wrong with it being baked, but I prefer my Jerk chicken to have a little char from the fire. It gives it a lil different taste. I would suggest you also add an additional Jerk sauce for additional $.53. We didn't try the lemon cake, but it was suggested.

After working out in the area I was hungry so I searched for food nearby and came across this restaurant and decided to stop by. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and attitude. The artwork throughout is just as welcoming and beautiful. The food was AMAZING and flavorful . I had the Jerk chicken and red beans with rice and it was so good that I ate it in the parking lot. I will definitely be back.

Finally had to a chance to go to and eat at The Jerk and the food was fantastic. From the flavorful Jerk chicken slipping and sliding off the bone, to the beef pates that you can dip in the jerk sauce that gives it that extra kick, there is flavor and soul that comes from this place and you taste it in every bite. Also was of fan of the loaded jerk baked potato with the shredded jerk on top and a potato that was easy to slice through. P.S. [if you don't add the diced beef link to that great tasting red beans and rice, then your not living. Don't worry yall, I'll definitely be returning.
